About the EMedHome Online Lecture Programs

The EMedHome.com On-Line Lectures CME Program allows you to view lectures from the best EM conferences right on your computer in the comfort of your own home and earn category 1 CME credit. Most lectures are available for downloading to your iPod or preferred portable video device. Audio files of the lectures are available for download to your MP3 player:

Target Audience:
This activity is intended for physicians with a focus on emergency medicine providers.

Instructions for Participation & Credit:
To complete this self-study educational activity proceed as follows:

  1. Read the learning objectives for this CME activity.
  2. Watch the lecture presentation by clicking on the "View Lecture Online" Link.
  3. Read, complete, and submit answers to the CME exam questions and evaluation survey. It may be helpful to keep the CME exam questions open in a separate window while viewing the lecture so that you can answer the questions as the lecture progresses.
  4. View and download/print your CME certificate by going to the CME tracker section upon successful completion of the CME exam.

This CME activity will remain available for CME credit for 18 months from date of posting.

Continuing education credit will be awarded to physicians who successfully complete this activity as described in the Instructions Section. For information on applicability and acceptance of continuing education credit for this activity, please consult your professional licensing boards.

Technical Requirements:
Participation in this CME activity requires a computer with an active connection to the internet. Macromedia flash is necessary to view the presentation (present in the majority of browsers). Adobe reader is necessary to view the PDF files of available handouts. In some cases, you will need to disable your Internet Security software (e.g. Norton Security) in order to allow viewing of the lecture presentation.
